Strengthening Our Customer Support Team
As demand for RADIX products and turnkey foundation solutions continues to grow, we’re pleased to welcome Christine Smith to our Sales Team.
Christine joined the business in June and will be working closely with our customers and No More Digging Approved Installers, helping them specify the right products, manage enquiries and receive the responsive technical support that has become synonymous with the RADIX name.

New 30kN Solar Tensile Test Kit
Reliable foundation design begins with reliable site data.
To further support renewable energy projects, RADIX has introduced the new 30kN Solar Tensile Test Kit, enabling installers and engineers to accurately determine the site-specific tensile resistance and load-bearing capacity of screw pile foundations.
Supplied as a complete on-site testing solution, the kit provides the empirical data needed to validate foundation performance and support engineering decisions before construction begins. As solar developments continue to increase in scale, accurate verification is becoming increasingly important in delivering compliant, high-performing foundation systems.
The addition of the 30kN Solar Tensile Test Kit further strengthens the growing range of professional testing equipment available from RADIX, supporting engineers and contractors with the data they need to install with confidence.
Delivering at Wick Farm BESS
This month we’ve also published a new case study showcasing our work on the 208MWh Wick Farm Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Chippenham.
Working alongside EQUANS within a live, multi-contractor environment, RADIX designed, supplied and installed more than 1,100 screw pile foundations, together with bespoke steel interface systems supporting battery containers and associated infrastructure.
The project highlights the flexibility of engineered screw pile foundations on large-scale energy infrastructure developments. By adapting installation methodologies to suit changing site conditions and contractor sequencing, the RADIX team maintained programme continuity while minimising disruption across the project.
As demand for BESS infrastructure continues to grow throughout the UK and internationally, projects such as Wick Farm demonstrate the value of integrating foundation engineering, installation expertise and bespoke structural solutions within a single delivery partner.
Complete Installation Packages with the RADIX 8000 PTM
For contractors looking to establish or expand their ground screw installation capability, RADIX continues to offer tailored Ground Screw Starter Packages designed around individual business requirements.
Packages can include ground screws or screw piles, installation equipment, testing accessories and the RADIX 8000 Precision Torque Monitor (PTM).
Developed specifically for the installation of ground screws, screw piles and helical piles, the wireless PTM provides real-time torque verification, allowing contractors to record installation data, support quality assurance procedures and provide documented evidence that installation criteria have been achieved.
It’s another example of how RADIX continues to invest in products that improve installation quality, project accountability and engineering confidence.
Supporting Environmental Restoration
Sustainability is embedded throughout the RADIX approach.
Alongside helping customers reduce embodied carbon through low-impact ground screw and screw pile foundations, we continue to support organisations delivering meaningful environmental restoration projects across the UK.
