OVERVIEW
To Provide Sustainable Foundation Solutions for Staff Accommodation
Clock House Farm were looking to replace 90 accommodation caravans which were over 30 years old. Many of the previous Caravans were situated on old concrete and were not aligned with Clock House farm Eco Values.
After a thorough research Clock House Farm chose RADIX to be their provider of choice not only because of the friendly and efficient service but also for the quality of our PRO Range 1550mm Ground Screw product

SOLUTION
Rapid, Environmentally Friendly Foundations.
Testing was completed on the sites by the Clock House Farm team to ensure the correct Ground Screws were chosen. The team then geo technically measured a layout for the 16 number of RADIX PRO 1550mm Ground Screws per unit to be installed.
Once locations were marked out the Clock House Farm team installed the RADIX Ground screws using an excavator and an Auger (RADIX supplied the Auger Drive adapter) and installed foundations for 40 Units in one day. The Clock House Farm team were delighted with not only the speed of completion but the minimal impact this had on the environment with no major removals of soils

Sustainability & Environmental Benefits
Foundations That Protect Today’s Landscape and Future Sustainability
The Clock House Farm project placed sustainability at the forefront. By replacing outdated concrete bases with PRO Range Ground Screws, the installation generated no spoil, eliminated the need for excavation, and drastically reduced emissions from transport and on-site machinery. This low-impact approach preserved soil structure, avoided disruption to the surrounding landscape, and reduced heavy vehicle movements across the rural site.
