OVERVIEW
A Full Turnkey Package to Provide 23 no. Ground Mounted Solar Tables, ready for the Electrical Contractor to complete Efficient Installation of PV Panels and Energising of System
Overcoming concerns regarding wind uplift and sloping ground conditions, the area of land where the ground-mounted solar system was positioned is subject to high winds funnelling down the site and variable ground levels.
RADIX was appointed to complete a full site appraisal including tensile static load testing and a quick turnaround of a full design package. On completion of design a full tender submission was provided for consideration. Upon approval RADIX was instructed to progress with the supply and installation of our ground screw foundations including our 2inP RADIX SolarMount racking system as a turnkey system.

Site Survey and Testing
Conducting a full site survey including ground levels to plan the layout of RADIX 2inP SolarMount system whilst completing static load testing of RADIX ground screws to ensure the system would withstand significant horizontal and vertical uplift forces from inclement weather.
Ground Screw Foundations
RADIX supplied and installed 184 RADIX PRO Ground Screws with our hydraulic augers, providing a secure foundation to anchor our RADIX SolarMount racking system.
SolarMount Racking System
Design, supply and installation of 23 no. arrays each accommodating 18 no. JA Solar Panels in a 2×9 portrait configuration at 15 degrees angle. Each array was installed to accommodate the sloping ground conditions and provide maximum efficiency.
